Youth SoccerSoccer is a game that teaches players how to be part of a team and work as a group of eleven in an attempt to score a goal. In third-world countries, opportunities for children working as a group for a goal that does not involve either violence or just survival can be far and few between. One of the countries that Soccer For Life is currently trying to help the children in is Honduras in Central America.
Help Children In Third-World Countries
Soccer For Life helps to supply soccer equipment to children in third-world countries that cannot afford soccer equipment on their own. In some of these countries such as Honduras, children have few options to learn to work as a team together in a productive way. Soccer is one of those ways to help these children. The game of soccer teaches them to work together and spend time with adults instead of becoming involved in gangs and other militant groups that recruit young children.
Children Learn To Help Others
Soccer For Life can help your children learn the value of helping less fortunate children. Instead of selling candy bars or wrapping paper door to door, your children can participate in collection drives at local neighborhood shopping centers to collect soccer supplies from the community for needy children. Your children will learn how it's more important to help out those who are struggling to make ends meet, instead of just trying to make a profit for their own benefit which other fund raising programs encourage.
Donations Are Tax Deductible
You can take deductions on the upcoming year's taxes if you make donations to Soccer For Life. Soccer For Life falls under the tax deduction regulations for a 501-(3) C Organization, which means you are permitted to make deductions for any equipment you donate. The Soccer For Life organization is registered in Arizona in the United States.
