Soccer Room Decorations

soccer room decorations :
There are a lot of different types of soccer that draws fans, both young and old. There is Major League Soccer, International soccer leagues player overseas, the World Cup Soccer Tournament and even indoor soccer. With all of these different leagues available for fans to watch, many fans enjoy displaying their appreciation of the sport in their home. One way to do this is by decorating a bedroom with a soccer theme. The soccer theme can be used on the walls, for lighting in the room, or even in bedding sets. How you decorate your room to represent your favorite sport is up to you, but these tips will help you get started with your soccer room decorations.

Lamps

Consider lighting it up using lamps that either have soccer ball shapes, or shades with soccer themes on them. These are typically desk lamps that can sit on top of either a desk in the room, or a side table.

Wallpaper Borders

Consider wallpaper borders on the top or bottom of your bedroom walls to enhance your soccer themed bedroom. You could use either wallpaper borders that have a soccer theme, or you could create your own border on your wall using soccer trading cards.

Posters

To make the posters that decorate your soccer themed room look a little more professional, have them framed before hanging. This will also help your posters last longer and limit the risk of damage to your posters.

Wall Graphics

Order images of your favorite soccer player in the form of a Fathead graphic that will adhere to your wall (see Resources). If you don't want a player, you can purchase graphics such as team logos or pennants to hang from your walls.

Bedding Sets

Don't forget about the bed, the focal point in a bedroom with a soccer theme. You can purchase matched bedding sets with soccer graphics or team logos, or else buy pieces separately to decorate your bed.

Site Manager - JB I'm a Chelsea supporter and overall fan of the game, regardless of the county it's played in. I've been playing the beautiful game since I could walk and currently reside in Austin, TX with my wife and daughter.

I'm also a proud supporter of Austin's new USL-First Division team, the Aztex.
